Just thought to post this as others are searching for a new tractor...

I looked at the 4310 and the TC33D. I have a JD and like it but found the cost of repair and parts really high. I don't know as of yet how the cost will relate to the TC33D. I tested the JD 4310 and 4410 and found them really sweet but all the E-switches really made me wonder about possible issues with moisture and usage. After all the deciding the quality of both the JD and NH were top notch. But, for the price JD 4310 23,000 for MMM, and FEL compared to the NH TC 33 with Superstear, 6 ft read discharge MMM, FEL, 5 ft Landpride rotory mower, Chrome bullet canopy with radio, and armrest for the seat for 21,500 I went with the NH. Cost wasn't an issue but overall product satisfaction. Also, the NH had extras like swivel seat and retracting 3pt hitch that wasn't available as a standard option for the JD. I guess my final decision was that I just didn't want to test out all the new E-switches the JD had come up with...

I certainly think that the NH is a good choice. In my last decision I had to make I looked at NH and Deere and finally went slighly used Deere. If I had gone new I guess the the Blue or Orange would have been in the barn.
I guess the only detractor from the blue NH33D would have been the live PTO. The 4310 has an independent as do the NH35-40 which is what I was considering. ....

we went through the same thing last fall
and ended up with a tc33d also.
price was a factor (green was 3000.more)
and you get less. but what really sealed the deal was the dealer and the supersteer! love it!! ....

Hi:
Comgradulations on your new Boomer. I am currently awaiting delivery of our new N.H. TC29. I am curious you mentioned having yours equipped with a "Chrome bullet canopy with radio". Can you give me some particulars about this canopy? Such as who makes it,where you got it from, what it is made of and quality of constuction and of course the cost? Any info will be greatly appreciated as I plan on equipping our TC29 with a canopy
Thanks ....

The canopy from what I know came from NH. Radio and canopy is about 300.00. Canopies are ok.. but you have to watch for limbs and overheads. I don't think I would get a fiberglass one.. I've already.. hit a few things that would of cracked the fiberglass for sure. ....

It sounds like you made the same choice I did after 4 months of research! I went with the TC29D after looking at all makes and models, I felt the NH was the best bang for the buck. The green and orange machines where from 1500 to 3500 more. What I thought was really strange was The Case DX models where about the same as a Deere only difference was red instead of blue! I have had my tractor for a year and 150 hrs. and not one problem. Good luck with your new machine. ....
